As a key member in the Audit, Risk & Compliance team, as Compliance Monitioring Team Manager you will lead the monitoring team to help identify opportunities for improvement throughout iGO4, tracking them through to implementation, whilst providing assurance to the Board that systems and controls are in place to ensure iGO4’s Customer First strategy and regulatory requirements continue to be achieved.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Managing the team of Audit and Compliance Executives within the department

• Conducting certain internal and partner audit activities

• Reporting on findings from audits and monitoring, including making recommendations as necessary to the Senior ARC Manager 

• Leading the process of feeding back and calibrating audit results with other teams within the business and at key business partners

• Act as a champion to embed a culture supportive of regulatory compliance and internal control practices across the business 

• Assisting other areas of the business with understanding compliance risks and ensuring such risks are minimised and managed, including advising on appropriate strategies

• Assisting development of new audit and monitoring processes where risks are identified

• Assisting the Senior ARC Manager with ad-hoc projects as needed


• A background in the insurance industry preferably including within a compliance related role

• Awareness of the FCA's Handbook, specifically Insurance Conduct of Business Source book (ICOBS) and Dispute Resolution (DISP)

• An action-orientated approach – able to roll up sleeves and get on with the job in hand

• The ability to use own initiative in order to make decisions and recommend solutions to problems

• Experience in producing and analysing management information and identifying actions to improve

• The ability to influence, motivate and build trust– Experience of managing/leading others to achieve business goals

• Awareness of the FCA's Handbook, specifically Insurance Conduct of Business Source book (ICOBS) and Dispute Resolution (DISP)
